KAJOTONI EMPOWERED STEPS AFRICA INITIATIVE

KESAI is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people with disabilities in Nigeria. Through advocacy, financial support, and skill development programs, we aim to create a world where everyone has equal opportunities regardless of physical challenges. We believe in breaking barriers and building a more inclusive society across
Africa, starting with Lagos, Nigeria.

FOUNDER’S STORY

My name is Olufunke Ayo-Ayobolu, founder of the Olufunke Ayo-Ayobolu Foundation (OAAF). After undergoing a below-the-knee amputation in 2022, I gained firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by People Living with Disabilities (PLWDs). This life-changing experience inspired me to establish OAAF to provide holistic support and empower individuals to lead independent, fulfilling lives. KESAI represents the social enterprise arm of OAAF, with a focus on PLWDs, indigent women, and children across Africa.

A world where PLWDs and indigent women lead confident, independent, and fulfilling lives, contributing meaningfully to society

To provide comprehensive support through information sharing, vocational training, seed funding, advocacy, and sustainability initiatives.
Our aim is to foster independence and improve the quality of life for PLWDs and indigent women, one community at a time.
